Our Quality Control Process

Built around Sojat’s henna heritage and clean-room discipline, our QC program keeps Henna Powder, Hair Color blends and Herbal Powders consistent, traceable, and trustworthy—batch after batch.

End-to-End Quality Flow

Quality starts at the farm and ends at your finished pack. We maintain SOPs, batch records, and sample retention so that every lot is auditable and repeatable.

1) Raw Material Selection Henna leaves/herbs vetted for seasonality, aroma, and cleanliness; supplier records updated.
2) Intake & Pre-Cleaning Visual screening, de-stemming, magnets/screens; lot code assigned, logs created.
3) Milling & Sieving Low-heat micro-pulverizing; vibro-sifting to target mesh (hair/mehndi/herbal grades).
4) Routine QC Checks Organoleptic, mesh observation, moisture, foreign matter, basic micro as applicable.
5) Documentation Batch reports, retention samples, labels and COA on request; traceability preserved.

Henna Powder (Hair & Mehndi)

  • Leaf selection in peak season; shade-drying to protect color & aroma.
  • Low-heat milling; triple-sieving for smooth, cone-friendly texture.
  • Visual stain tests (paste swatch), aroma review, mesh observation.

Hair Color Blends (Henna/Indigo/Cassia etc.)

  • Recipe adherence checked against spec; component lots recorded.
  • Blend uniformity check; small-batch paste test for tone check.
  • Labelling & market-specific requirements reviewed before release.

Herbal Powders (Sidr, Amla, Shikakai…)

  • Pre-cleaning with screens & magnets; foreign matter removal.
  • Micro-pulverization with SS contact parts; staged sieving by use-case.
  • Moisture-aware handling; finished lots labeled with dates & mesh.
